We are looking for completed feature-length crime/thriller scripts from aspiring feature director/writers who are prepared to submit at least two short films for review. The objective of this lead is to find not only a script, but an aspiring director who is looking for his or her first feature film opportunity. Please only submit if you will be prepared to submit a reel with two or more short films that you directed for us to review. The type of story we’re looking for is a low-budget gritty crime thriller with sexy characters, an art house feel and elements of exploitation and/or dark humor – i.e. something with nods towards Lynch, (early) Tarantino and or Hitchcock would definitely be in the right direction.
WG and non-WG writers may submit. Budget will not exceed $500K.
NOTE: this is a unique opportunity for a writer/director to get a first shot at a feature film credit. This isn’t the first such opportunity to come through InkTip’s Preferred Newsletter, and it won’t be the last. But because it happens infrequently, please ONLY submit if you have AT LEAST two short films that are complete and ready to view. Be aware that we stagger these leads because, when producers get too many submissions at once, they are less likely to pay close attention to individual submissions and more inclined to skim. Therefore, improper submissions, submissions that do not 100% fit the lead description and outside submissions will be forwarded to InkTip and discarded.

We are looking for completed feature-length horror scripts that are not posted on InkTip. We’ve scoured the site pretty thoroughly and haven’t found precisely what we’re looking for. If you have a horror script that is not on InkTip, or if you have one on InkTip but don’t see our company name in your logline viewings, or if you have a new one that hasn’t been submitted to us in the past, please use the link and code below to submit a pitch. Creature features are preferred, but we’ll consider any script that’s well-plotted, genuinely scary and likely to satisfy a modern horror audience’s taste for suspense and gore. Please, no bloodless, haunted Gothic castles.
Budget will not exceed 2.5 million. WG and non-WG writers may submit.

We are looking for completed feature-length scripts about MMA or mixed martial arts. The story should heavily revolve around MMA. Submissions should be in the vein of “Redbelt.” The story does not need to have competitive MMA tournaments, but perhaps competition at a “street level” or underground “fight club” inspired action. Real MMA fighters will be involved in this project.
Budget will not exceed $2 million. WG and Non-WG writers may submit.

We are looking for completed feature-length thriller/action scripts written with a male lead role aged 20-30. This is for an actor of European origin and so the character must allow for that. Also, the character should be the protagonist in the story. We prefer stories that have a “fish out of water” element and that involve a love interest. Regarding the action, the story should involve some physical danger – i.e. no “courtroom drama” or purely psychological thriller scripts. However, with that said we are not looking for an “action hero” script – hence the thriller/action or dramatic action call. In other words, we prefer stories in the vein of “The Usual Suspects,” “No Country for Old Men,” “The Way of the Gun,” and “Collateral” instead of “Crank” or “Jumper.” We are not open to horror scripts or mafia stories.
Budget will not exceed $1 million. WG and Non-WG writers may submit.

We are looking for completed feature-length character-driven drama scripts written with a male lead role aged 20’s-30’s. The story should be grounded in realism and be high-stakes for the character, but not necessarily a physical life and death situation – i.e. we like stories in the vein of “The Wrestler,” “The Aviator” or “Half-Nelson.”
Budget has yet to be determined. WG and Non-WG writers may submit.

We are looking for completed feature-length scripts about “funny car” racing with a strong female lead role in her 20’s-30’s. Note: “Funny car racing” is the name of the sport; we are not referring to funny comedy scripts about car racing. We are, however, also open to sample scripts about other auto racing classes or types (NASCAR, etc.) as long as you have a demonstrative knowledge of funny car racing. For example, we may request that other racing type script as a sample and ask for an outline of your proposed funny car script. This is for a slate of low-budget projects, so please only submit if you are willing to write on spec. In the personal message provided, please indicate if you are submitting a funny car script or if you are submitting another racing sample pitch. If the sample interests us, we may then request the script as a further sample and ask for your outline proposal for a funny car script. We understand that the funny car mandate is narrow as is, but it is important that the script showcase a lead female role in her 20’s-30’s.
Budget has yet to be determined. Non-WG writers only should submit at this time.
