We are looking for completed feature-length scripts with international themes, locations and appeal. These scripts should primarily be set in Europe, India, South America or Canada. We are looking for four-quadrant (films that appeal to men and women and the young and old) dramas (“Slumdog Millionaire”), family-audience fantasy (“Nim’s Island,” “The Golden Compass”) or action scripts (“The Bourne Identity,” “The Italian Job”). The story should be easily understood and translate easily into other cultures.

Budget will not exceed $10M. WG and Non-WG writers may submit.

We are looking for completed feature-length contemporary drama scripts written for a female lead role in her 30’s that are either set in or can be shot in South Florida or the nation of Colombia. We are a Miami-based production company with access to resources in Colombia as well, so please submit material that can work if shot in either of these settings. Please do not submit scripts based in New York or the Midwest. The lead actress role should be written for someone in their 30’s and the rest of the cast should be minimal (small cast, no large groups, school settings, etc.). The script should be a character-driven drama, not an action thriller or other.

Budget will not exceed $500,000. WG and Non-WG writers may submit.

We are looking for completed feature-length low-budget crime/thriller scripts from Canadian writers. Submissions must be scripts that have been screenwriting competition finalists or scripts that received good coverage from an independent coverage service. Stories shouldn’t be overtly violent (no Saw or Hostel type stories), but dark and gritty stories with original concepts are welcome. When submitting, please list the contests your script was entered along with its placement/rank in the contest. If any coverage services have given it a “recommend,” please note this in the resume space provided.

Budget has yet to be determined. WG and non-WG Canadian writers can submit.
