Scripts wanted – Mad Samurai Productions – Canadian Crime/Thriller ScriptJuly 17, 2009
We are looking for completed feature-length low-budget crime/thriller scripts from Canadian writers. Submissions must be scripts that have been screenwriting competition finalists or scripts that received good coverage from an independent coverage service. Stories shouldn’t be overtly violent (no Saw or Hostel type stories), but dark and gritty stories with original concepts are welcome. When submitting, please list the contests your script was entered along with its placement/rank in the contest. If any coverage services have given it a “recommend,” please note this in the resume space provided.
Budget has yet to be determined. Submissions from Non-WGC Canadian writers only. (Please note that we received a lot of submissions from non-Canadian writers in the first batch. We reported them all as improper submissions to InkTip. Due to tax and financial circumstances, we just aren’t open to submissions from non-Canadian writers.)
Our credits include “Milo 55160” and we are in development on a number of features including “The Colony” and “Escape From Hell” with writer/director Michael Miner (RoboCop)
