We are looking for completed feature-length dark thriller or horror scripts from WGA writers. The story should feel realistic and plausible as if it could be ripped from today’s headlines. We are not open to supernatural horror stories. In other words, we are looking for stories in the vein of “The Strangers,” “Funny Games” or “Wolf Creek.” The antagonist should be menacing and vicious, and terrorize a family or group. No mindless torture films. We are not open to police or investigative stories.

We are looking for completed feature-length dance or music scripts that revolve around an underdog story. The form of music can either be dance, singing, or other as long as most of the protagonist’s plight revolves around the music. Examples would be “Save the Last Dance,” “The Soloist,” “August Rush,” “Billy Elliot” and “Once.”

We are looking for completed one-hour TV pilot scripts that have wide international appeal. By that, we mean concepts that don’t depend on American pop culture, the American legal system or anything else that may not translate to a wide market. We prefer stories with a lot of action, but are open to all genres. Examples of the types of stories would be “Alias,” “Prison Break,” “Lost,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “24,” and “Fringe.” If something is a procedural (legal/medical/cop/etc), it would have to be very high concept. We are only open to narratives, meaning no reality shows.

We are looking for completed feature-length, youth protagonist, drama scripts as samples for a possible writer-for-hire opportunity. We own the rights to a classic, best-selling novel and are looking for a writer skilled in writing about young characters in difficult circumstances to adapt the story to the screen. We are not open to horror or straight comedy samples at this time. Submissions should be in the vein of “Thirteen,” “Mean Creek,” “Kids” (but a shade lighter), or “Heavenly Creatures.”

We are looking for completed feature-length character-driven drama or comedy scripts with stories about life in New York City. Submissions should be for stories set in the NYC, especially the Bronx or Brooklyn, and should feature compelling, unique characters. When submitting, please list any contest placements or coverage received in the resume space below because we’ll be giving preference to those scripts. No Horror films please.
