Scripts wanted – Gimme a Break – Female Driven Mystery Scripts

July 7, 2009

We are looking for completed feature-length contemporary female-driven mystery scripts that are written and formatted for television broadcast. Please note that we need the main character/protagonist to be in her 30’s. By “female-driven mystery,” we mean a crime or thriller story in which the female is the protagonist, not a secondary character. Please only submit if your script meets all of the above criteria precisely. We are not interested in projects that can be “easily adapted.” Please note that we’re not interested in conventional stories in which the protagonist is a cop or P.I. We are looking for interesting protagonists with interesting integration into the story, not something that’s been done countless times before. Please also note that the story we’re looking for will involve a lot of twists and turns in the plot, so story-driven scripts are a must.

Budget will not exceed $2 million. WGA and non-WGA writers may submit.

Our credits include “Color of Justice” and “Lifestories: Families in Crisis – Confronting Brandon: The Intervention of an Addict.” and several features in development.

To submit to this lead, please go to:

NOTE: Please only submit your work if it fits what the lead is looking for exactly. If you aren’t sure if your script fits, please ask InkTip first.

  1. Hmmm, that was interesting. Looks like somethings will always remain mystery.

I myself has been trying to solve the mystery of this legend for a wile now. Could not understand much though.

Let me know in case you get to understand the mystery of the Old Hound and the Legend

By the way, good writing style. I’d love to read more on similar topics
