Other activities included the optioning of literary material for development into feature film and television projects. On September 15, 1993, The Orange Grove Group transitioned itself into a full-service talent and literary agency (State of California License TA-40311-1 ) representing/packaging acting, writing, and directing talent for film, television, and theatre. Guild franchises held include SAG, AFTRA, AEA, WGA, and DGA.
Gregory D. Mayo is the President and Founder of The Orange Grove Group. Prior to the establishment of this agency, Mr. Mayo served in the capacity of Vice-President, National Sales & Marketing Manager, and Consultant/Strategist for several large manufacturing and distribution companies. Mr. Mayo holds an MBA from Pepperdine University, BA from Denison University, and did graduate work at The George Washington University. Professional associations include Who’s Who In California, Who’s Who In Executives & Professionals, Pepperdine Management Partners, American Film Institute, Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and The Thalians.

Logline: Comedic chaos erupt when two lumber yard workers from the “deep backwoods” of Alabaster Alabama win a sightseeing trip to New York City and unknowingly get caught in the middle of a police investigation involving two jewel thieves(dumb and dumber) and the three Detectives trying to arrest them.
Have written two other screenplays: “Not On My Beat(Crime/Thriller)was Professionally read by Script Consultant Lee Levinson and given a “strong Consider” recommendation and “Where In The World Is Matthew Redstone?(Drama/Overcoming Obstacles)
